Depending on how you found Ardour & Bow, you may not be fully aware of all of the services that we can offer. Our services range from support planning your wedding, to offering assistance for a big birthday, or perhaps you are even a venue needing help in replying to your enquiries and elevating your business profitability. Whatever the services you require, we can tailor our offering to suit your needs and budget.
We can assist from the very start of your wedding planning journey, providing advice from start to finish, or we can step in much closer to the day, providing on the day event management. We also have a range of consultancy options if you feel that you can confidently plan your wedding, but need some help creating your timeline of the day, venue sourcing, supplier sourcing or budget advice.
Where are you based?
We are lucky to have two bases in the UK - one in the beautiful Devon countryside and one in West London. This provides us with the opportunity to meet for face-to-face meetings in either Devon or London. We will always find a convenient place to meet - if in the South West, one of our favourite places for planning meetings is The Pig at Combe - it's such a cosy place in winter with their open log fires, and in summer the terrace has the most beautiful views over the countryside. When we are in London, there are so many places for meetings, our favourite places are any of the Firmdale Hotels, and definitely any place that serves champagne - because bubbles are an absolute must when planning events!
When working with international clients, we use video calls to keep in touch and will always do our best to work around your schedule.
Where do you plan events?
We plan events across the UK and we especially love to plan events in historic settings and marquees, especially when held at home. From our knowledge of planning weddings and events in both the South West and London, we have an extensive little black book of the very best suppliers to give you complete peace of mind that your day will be exactly how you have planned. We love events whether based in the countryside or the city, both have their appeal.
Do you only plan weddings?
No, we love to plan ANY type of event! We love helping to plan birthday parties and other milestone events and also love to turn our hand to creating the most jaw-dropping dinner party tables working our magic to ensure your guests are 'wowed'. We can also put you in touch with private chefs to complete the evening.
Alongside personal celebrations, we also provide experienced corporate event management from conferences to gala dinners. We can assist from start to finish acting as a point of contact for delegates, provide venue sourcing, arranging all suppliers, and even planning VIP away days involving travel and exciting excursions.
Why should I hire a wedding planner?
We are hired by couples and individuals who are typically too busy to plan their celebrations, as well as those needing an expert with the ideal supplier contacts to design their perfect event. Planning a celebration or event of any kind takes time. With our experience, we can streamline the process and work hard to find the best suppliers for your celebration, which can result in saving you money as well as time due to existing relationships we have with suppliers. Our main aim is to ensure that we remove any stress and uncertainty and provide expert guidance throughout the process. On the day of your event, we are there from early morning until late into the evening to oversee every aspect. We also ensure we have a few contingency plans up our sleeves as well as that all-important wet weather plan.
How much do your wedding and party planning services cost?
For the majority of our services, we charge a percentage of the overall budget spend. For weddings, we charge 12% with a minimum fee which is usually from £7,000 + depending on the scale of the wedding. For private parties and corporate events, we charge 10% of the budget spend with a minimum fee.
Ultimately, you are paying for our experience and knowledge, garnered over many years working in the events industry, often working on high-end events with celebrities and occasionally event Royals too - our philosophy is to treat every couple we work with as VIP clients.
How do we keep in touch?
If you have hired Ardour & Bow, it's highly likely that you are a busy couple. We therefore work to your schedule whether that means video calls first thing in the morning, or at the weekend. We don't have specific 'working hours' and remain flexible and available whenever you require us. We use an online planning portal to share all the information about your wedding or event and keep in touch on an ongoing basis with regular catch up video calls.
We feel incredibly lucky to be part of every celebration that we help to plan. Our over-arching aim is to provide you with the confidence in our abilities to relax, enjoy your engagement or planning process and eliminate all feeling of overwhelm leaving you to enjoy time with your friends and family and have a truly spectacular celebration.
