An evening inspired by Truman Capote’s infamous Black & White Ball, reimagined within the historic walls of Hampton Court Palace.

I adore planning parties, and wow was this a fun one, celebrating S & C’s joint milestone birthdays in true style.

An effortlessly chic evening unfolded, with guests dressed in glamorous black tie and serenaded throughout dinner in the grandeur of the Great Hall. After dinner, the celebration continued a Studio 54–inspired after-party, with the Undercroft transformed into the ultimate dance floor, complete with glitter balls and dancing showgirls.

Planning celebrations within historic spaces is always a privilege, and Hampton Court Palace remains one of my very favourite venues for unforgettable events.

Just returned from a wonderful few nights at the stunning @calcot_and_spa in the Cotswolds countryside where we fully indulged in everything this incredible place has to offer. From the bride, who looked absolutely awe-inspiring in her gorgeous Phillipa Lepley dress, to the show stopping florals from Pinstripes and Peonies, to the beautifully decorated dining tables set against the grandeur of the V&A Museum. ⁠

We have the pleasure of working with their family again this year - we are always sad when an event comes to a close so it’s really special when we have the opportunity to plan further events together with clients.

It is true that during the drinks reception guests will be mingling and chatting but it really adds to the ambience to have music playing at the same time, it could be a harpist, classical or a duo such as this talented band @consciousclubband. For the evening, really think about whether you want a band, or a DJ - or my personal favourite, a DJ with a live element such as a sax player to bring that element of live atmosphere.⁠
